All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family: Career Development Whole Person Wellbeing Resources Mental Health Resources and Support Schedule: Part-time 32 hours Shift: Friday-Monday 7:45am- 4:15pm Location: 50 Hospital Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28792 The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Hendersonville Convenient access, with locations across Western North Carolina Beautiful mountain scenery Historic towns and cities full of specialty shops, art galleries and unique restaurants Fresh produce available at farmers markets and U-picks Special events to enjoy in every season The role you'll contribute: Under general direction has authority, responsibility, and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound care throughout the agency. Provide direct patient care and education to selected patients. Provide for staff development in areas of expertise. The value you'll bring to the team: Demonstrate critical thinking and independent decision making; utilizing policies and procedures, standards of care and data analysis. Develop and coordinate education plans appropriate to the learning style of the patient; patient family, and interdisciplinary care team members. Manage resources which promote cost effective, efficient operations and positive outcomes. Performs comprehensive patient assessments, anticipating potential care problems and prioritizing care needs to effectively provide optimum care Qualifications Associate in Nursing Required 2 nursing experience in last 4 years Required Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing required BCLS - Basic Life Support Required CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Required Accredited credential in Wound / Ostomy / Continence Nursing Upon Hire Required This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
