QUALITY ITALIAN is seeking experienced Full and Part Time Broiler Cooks to join our team!
Position Summary: As a Broiler Cook at Quality Italian, you have a solid foundation in culinary techniques, strong organizational skills, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. You' ll be responsible for preparing and cooking meats and other grilled items to order, ensuring high-quality food presentation and consistency. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Position Requirements:
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and plating of menu items to ensure consistent quality and presentation standards.
- Lead and support cooks at your station, providing direction and ensuring efficient workflow during service.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all menu items and kitchen operations to ensure seamless service and consistency.
- Communicate effectively with the Manager on Duty (MOD) and kitchen team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues during shift.
- Prepare daily staff meals in accordance with kitchen guidelines and available ingredients.
- Ensure strict compliance with all state and CDC health, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
- Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift, following proper sanitation protocols.
- Adhere to uniform, hygiene, and safety standards as outlined by company policy.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for the entire shift.
- Exhibit professionalism, strong multitasking skills, and a collaborative team spirit in a fast-paced environment.
