Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support day-to-day operations and uphold the highest standards of service and hospitality. The AGM will work closely with the General Manager and department leads to lead service, foster staff development, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
Support all front-of-house operations with a focus on service quality, team training, and guest satisfaction
Supervise daily floor operations and serve as Manager on Duty as needed
Collaborate with the GM on scheduling, inventory, payroll, and service execution
Train, mentor, and motivate FOH staff to meet performance and hospitality standards
Handle guest relations with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards
Contribute to a positive, professional, and respectful work environment
Qualifications
3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
Fine Dining and Mexican Restaurant experience a plus
A passion for exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and composed under pressure
Passion for hospitality and guest experience
Experience with Resy and Toast systems preferred
NYC DOH Food Handler’s Certification a plus
