About the Role
At Lolita, every night is a celebration of flavor, music, and vibrant energy. We’re looking for a Floor Manager who can lead with confidence, charm, and precision—ensuring that every guest leaves feeling like the most important person in the room. The ideal candidate will combine sharp operational skills with a warm, magnetic hospitality style that reflects Lolita’s spirit.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a welcoming, professional representative of Lolita, embodying our values of hospitality, generosity, and curiosity in every guest and team interaction.
- Organize and lead our FOH team—including servers, runners, and hosts—while collaborating closely with BOH partners to ensure a seamless flow of service.
- Take a hands-on approach to service during shifts: guiding staff, managing the floor, supporting guest interactions, and solving problems in real time.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor during peak hours to oversee service standards, pacing, and guest experience.
Staff Leadership & Development
- Assist with recruiting, training, mentoring, scheduling, and performance evaluations for FOH team members.
- Provide constructive feedback, motivate staff daily, and foster a positive, high-energy work environment.
- Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in all service and dining areas.
- Collaborate with the Beverage Manager and Executive Chef to run effective pre-shift and pre-event meetings, sharing menu updates, service priorities, and event details.
- Encourage professional growth by communicating expectations clearly and promoting from within whenever possible.
Guest Experience Excellence
- Ensure every guest consistently receives attentive, thoughtful, and efficient service.
- Respond promptly and gracefully to guest concerns, turning challenges into opportunities for exceptional hospitality.
- Oversee the Host Team and door operations to manage reservations, maximize seating efficiency, and maintain a welcoming arrival experience.
- Partner with the leadership team to coordinate and execute in-house events and large parties with precision.
Operational & Administrative Duties
- Work with management to update POS systems, menu changes, and staff profiles.
- Monitor and review financial performance data to track productivity, identify areas for improvement, and support cost-control strategies.
- Assist with creating systems and processes that enhance service flow, efficiency, and team communication.
