About the Role: The Facility Maintenance Technician at Aero Bending Company plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. The technician will work closely with production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly, supporting continuous manufacturing processes. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate maintenance records and assisting in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs. Ultimately, this position contributes to sustaining a safe, reliable, and productive work environment that supports the company’s manufacturing goals. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Familiarity with safety standards and procedures related to facility maintenance. Preferred Qualifications: Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or a related field. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Basic welding and fabrication skills. Knowledge of HVAC systems and controls. Forklift operation certification. Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal operation. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize production interruptions. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address maintenance needs and improve equipment reliability. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory to support operational transparency and planning. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities. Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide timely solutions to critical equipment failures. Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems within the facility. Skills: The Facility Maintenance Technician utilizes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills daily to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations. Strong problem-solving abilities enable the technician to diagnose complex issues and implement effective repairs or preventive measures. Communication skills are essential for coordinating with production teams and documenting maintenance activities clearly and accurately. Familiarity with safety protocols ensures that all maintenance work is performed in compliance with regulatory standards, protecting both personnel and equipment. Additionally, proficiency with maintenance management software helps in scheduling tasks, tracking work orders, and managing inventory, contributing to organized and proactive facility upkeep.
