JOB SUMMARY:

Decoration of caps using our processes for applying patches as described below. Provide decoration and production support as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required): Checking/counting orders by cap style and quantity prior to beginning decoration. Sticking patches to blank hats using either adhesive provided on back of patch or hot glue gun as needed per patch style. Sewing leather, woven, silicone, and embroidered patches on caps using Juki post style sewing machine. Sewing private labels and patches for knit caps on flat and/or post style sewing machine. Heat press decorations on caps using heat press equipment. QC- checking all types of patches for quality and size. Tying thread inside caps for securing leather patches. Tracking of individual metrics and QC reports as needed. Removing Pacific Headwear labels from sweatbands for orders with customer private labels. Block hats using a blocking / steam iron machines. As needed perform trimming and inspection procedures, including tearing out backing, removing foam, and aligning caps for finishing/packing. Other duties may be assigned as workload requires. High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education/experience typically required. Ability to distinguish colors and shades. Frequently required to stand, walk and/or sit for a full shift. Manual dexterity to use hands to trigger device and apply decoration using a measuring device. Occasionally required to stoop or crouch. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position works in a production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to Heat Presses and Sewing machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. PPE must be worn in designated areas. WORK HOURS:

Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM Additional hours / workdays may be offered during busy periods. DRESS CODE:

Dress appropriate. Close toed shoes required.
