About this Job The mission of the Louisiana Veterans Home is to primarily serve the Veterans' population of Louisiana through the provision of medical, restorative, and rehabilitative services in an atmosphere of respect and compassion. The primary objective of the home is to provide quality nursing care to eligible veterans with the ultimate goal of returning the veterans to the highest possible levels of physical and mental capacity. The Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home is seeking a compassionate and experienced Custodial Worker (Floors) to support our Housekeeping Department and provide high-quality care to our honored veterans. Job Duties:
Strips, buffs, waxes, and disinfects all floors. Responsible for the care and maintenance of the equipment. Cleans, mops, disinfects, dusts, and sweeps when needed. Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type:

This position is eligible for retention pay (per hour worked).
