Position Summary: The Project Manager supports the planning and coordination of communications and marketing efforts for the CF Foundation's key engagement campaigns, including-but not limited to-national events and integrated initiatives. For priority projects, this role oversees the entire project lifecycle, ensuring deadlines and goals are met from initial planning through execution and post-launch analysis. The Project Manager works closely with Communications and Marketing team members, specifically the Creative team, to ensure delivery of all project components on time, on budget, and within scope. Additionally, this role partners with other internal teams and external stakeholders, including technical experts and subject matter specialists, to support the Foundation's mission through virtual and in-person programs and initiatives.

This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to track and manage dynamic demands in an ambiguous, mission-driven environment. This is a hybrid role based in Bethesda, MD, and requires 2-3 days per week in the Bethesda office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops, coordinates, and monitors scoping, scheduling, planning, and performance of key Communications and Marketing department initiatives. Ensures projects stay on track by monitoring progress against plans and timelines, communicating key milestones. Proactively identifies emerging challenges, provides recommendations, and implements solutions. Manages communications and marketing efforts for the annual medical and research conference and volunteer leadership conference, including but not limited to facilitating plenary presentation development, coordinating marketing and creative efforts, and facilitating on-site communications activities. In partnership with the Creative team, manage production schedules, tasks, and operations to enable timely, on-budget delivery of key assets. Effectively navigates the ambiguity of a highly collaborative nonprofit environment by adapting to changes and coordinating work across teams as needed to ensure project goals are met. Supports consistent use of best practices and templates and helps identify opportunities for improved alignment and efficiency. Collaborates with content and creative leads, writers, and subject matter experts to streamline workflows, share information, and drive impact. Trains Communications and Marketing team members on project management best practices and department workflows. Negotiates and manages contracts, including resources, and contractual requirements. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field. Minimum six years of comparable experience. Strong collaborator and active listener, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to the Senior Director, Marketing. No direct reports. WORKING CONDITIONS:

Normal hybrid (remote and in office) environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, and temperature. No heavy lifting required.

The salary range is $79,400.00 to $99,300.00. Specific salary varies based on geographic location and is commensurate with experience.
