Department: Oncology Location: Clifton Springs Hours Per Week: 37 Hours Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30AM - 4PM or 8AM - 4:30 PM, Friday 7:30AM - 12:30PM/8AM - 1PM Sign-On Bonus: $0 Summary
As a Senior Access Associate, you lead in the management and guidance of team members to maintain Rochester Regional's high-quality standards of customer care. Responsibilities
Leadership: Provides knowledge, expertise and guidance to a team of access associates; assist in training new employees; serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex issues. Customer Service: Manage incoming calls and provide necessary information; greet patients and/or their representatives and provide direction as needed; schedule patient appointments; interview patients and/or their representatives to obtain necessary information. Registration & Verification: Complete the registration process for patients and/or their representatives; verify insurance eligibility/coverage and obtain necessary pre-certifications/authorizations when applicable. Billing & Payments: Collect/process co-payments, deductibles and/or other types of payments; provide cost estimates when applicable; review charges in charge review WQs for completeness and accuracy. Required Qualifications
None Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree preferred. 3 years related work experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred. Bilingual preferred. Education: Licenses / Certifications: Physical Requirements: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee's physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations. Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
