Essential Function Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing all store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and are responsible for all primary duties when the Store Manager is not present.

Job Title: Assistant Manager

Primary Duties

30% Brand:

Supervise and support associates' daily goals and activities to deliver an exceptional client experience, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards such as merchandising, POGs, marketing, back rooms, and dress code are met. Act as the main contact for customer issues and analyze store trends to anticipate customer demands.

30% People:

Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve positive results. Recruit actively and identify strengths and opportunities for associates, addressing them through coaching or counseling. Maintain positive relations and effective communication, fostering diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

30% Operations:

Ensure execution of all company processes through training, management, analysis, and continuous improvement. Support digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment. Manage inventory, payroll, store opening and closing procedures, and ensure timely completion of directives and projects.

10% Safety/Loss Prevention:

Maintain a safe environment, enforce policies, protect assets, and ensure compliance with safety and inventory procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred: 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

Preferred: 1+ year management experience

Ability to lead and support teams, communicate effectively, and meet scheduling needs

Cosmetology license is desirable but not required
