Essential Function
Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing all store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and are responsible for all primary duties when the Store Manager is not present.
Primary Duties
Brand (30%) : Supervise and support associates’ daily goals and activities to deliver an exceptional client experience, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards such as merchandising, POGs, marketing, back rooms, and dress code are met. Act as the main contact for customer issues and analyze store trends to anticipate customer demands.
People (30%) : Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve positive results. Recruit actively and identify strengths and opportunities for associates, coaching or counseling as needed. Maintain positive relations and communicate regularly with team and peers, fostering diversity and inclusion.
Operations (30%) : Ensure execution of company processes, support digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment, manage inventory, payroll, and store procedures, and follow company directives and projects.
Safety/Loss Prevention (10%) : Maintain a safe environment, enforce policies, protect assets, and ensure compliance with safety training and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills/Abilities, and Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years or older
Preferred 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience
Preferred 1+ year management experience
Ability to lead/support a team, communicate effectively, and meet scheduling needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
