Oversee daily operations of agile blockchain engineering teams, including requirements grooming, scrums, retrospectives, and team-building focused on web3 innovation. Design, develop, and maintain blockchain APIs and decentralized applications (dApps) for stablecoins and crypto assets. Provide technical and architectural guidance for blockchain solutions, ensuring scalability and security. Lead agile practices tailored for blockchain teams, emphasizing smart contracts, DeFi, and user experience. Align engineering efforts with company goals, develop roadmaps, and set realistic launch timelines for blockchain products. Manage talent lifecycle, including mentoring, recruiting, training, and performance evaluations. Act as a technology ambassador within the blockchain ecosystem, communicating opportunities and challenges. Manage technical debt to maintain development responsiveness and minimize vulnerabilities. Contribute to organization-wide initiatives, sharing best practices and advancing blockchain projects. Coordinate cross-functional activities to integrate blockchain innovation across the organization. What You'll Bring To Circle
At least 3 years of technical leadership experience. Over 7 years of software engineering experience. Proficiency in Go, Java, or JavaScript with 3+ years of coding experience. Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying secure, scalable products. Passion for coaching, leadership development, and motivating teams. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and decision-making ability. Experience managing remote teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. Circle is committed to creating an inclusive financial future and values diversity. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and organizational needs. The base pay range is $182,500 - $240,000.
