The primary responsibilities include providing emergency medical care and support, including performing peripheral intravenous (PIV) procedures, and ensuring patient safety and compliance with medical protocols. Shift work is required, with a rotating schedule and availability for all shifts on a regular basis.Key Responsibilities Perform emergency medical care and support. Execute peripheral intravenous (PIV) procedures. Maintain patient safety and adhere to medical protocols. Work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays. Be available for additional hours to cover last-minute staffing needs.Qualifications Active Paramedic Licensure. Completion of a Paramedic program. Willingness to consider new graduates; preference for at least 1-year experience.Experience At least 1 year of experience in emergency medical services or a related field is preferred. Experience in a team lead position is a plus.Skills Critical thinker and self-motivated. Strong teamwork and communication skills.Additional Requirements Must be available to work all shifts (am/pm/overnight) based on staffing needs. Rotating schedule, including 12-hour shifts every other weekend. Participation in a standard on-boarding process, including a drug screen and background check. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
