Gastroenterologist Locums Job Bread & Butter Gastroenterology ALL Inpatient Coverage Jackson and Coker's partner in northern Mississippi needs 1-2 GIs to assist with locums inpatient scopes / call coverage starting in July & ongoing. Dates of Coverage: - 7am 7/14 - 5pm 7/16 - 3pm 7/20 - 5pm 8/6 - 3pm 8/10 - 7am 8/25 - 7am 9/8 - 5pm 9/17 - 3pm 9/21 - 7am 9/29 - 3pm 10/12 - 7am 10/20 - 7am 11/3 - 5pm 11/5 - 7am 11/17 - 5pm 12/2 - 7am 12/24 - 7am 12/29 Coverage Details for Assignment : Current Board Certification and/or true Eligibility required Active Mississippi medical license required (open to considering candidates who can obtain quick licensure via the IMLC) Will be covering 24-hour call coverage (7A - 7A) and expected to work between 8-10 hours per day in the hospital each weekday shift + between 3-6 hours per day on Saturday/Sunday Will be covering the ED, scheduled scopes, see new consults, do emergent procedures & daily patient rounding while on assignment Average # scheduled scopes are 4-6 per weekday, consults are between 3-5 per day & will see 3-5 emergent cases per week Seeking to onboard a variation of advanced & general Gastroenterologists; ERCP is beneficial to the facility and can be utilized but is not required Hospital has skillful, hard-working Hospitalists and outstanding scoping support st
