Responsibilities Position Summary

The Estimating Specialist will support the estimating department in preparing accurate cost estimates, organizing project data, and communicating with vendors and subcontractors. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates seeking practical exposure to the construction estimating process. Key Responsibilities

Assist with quantity takeoffs and data entry for estimates.

Organize and maintain estimating files and project documentation.

Help obtain, log, and track

vendor/subcontractor

quotes.

Update and maintain historical cost data for future project reference.

Learn and apply estimating software and tools to daily tasks.

Qualifications Qualifications

Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Willingness to learn new software and industry practices.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
