Job Title: Accounts Receivable Analyst
Location: Miami, FL 33178
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Contract Duration: 12 months (September 2025 - September 2026)
Pay Range: $36.00/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Credit & Collections team. You will manage high-volume accounts for major retailers, ensuring financial accuracy and resolving payment discrepancies. You will act as a liaison between internal teams and customer finance departments, investigating deduction trends, reconciling accounts, and minimizing financial exposure. The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills and experience managing AR for large retail clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Reconciliation & Analysis: Manage and reconcile high-volume retailer AR accounts, meeting aging targets.
- Deduction & Claim Management: Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short-pays, and deductions.
- Collaboration & Collections: Work with sales and finance teams to address past-due balances and ensure timely collections.
- Retailer Portal Management: Use portals like Walmart Retail Link to research claims and gather documentation.
- Reporting & Month-End Close: Analyze payment trends, prepare reports, and assist with month-end processes.
- Process Improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve workflows.
Qualifications
Required:
- Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 4 years of experience in AR, collections, or payment reconciliation.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
- Experience with large retailer accounts.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Familiarity with retailer portals and claim documentation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
