Financial Reporting Senior Accountant

The Financial Reporting team seeks a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Financial Reporting Senior Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders at our Arlington headquarters and globally. Your primary responsibilities include preparing financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, supporting SEC filings (10-K/10-Q), and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

You will also identify and communicate impacts of new accounting standards, support process improvements, and assist with system reporting upgrades.

Key Skills:
  • Research, interpret, and apply U.S. GAAP accounting concepts
  • Understand and comply with SEC reporting rules
  • Experience with SAP BPC, Wdesk, Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Power BI)
  • Ability to understand accounting systems and consolidations
  • Identify and implement process improvements using digital tools
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • CPA certification preferred
  • 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 or in public/private environments
  • Experience with SEC filings and U.S. GAAP in large public companies
  • Experience with complex technical accounting issues
