Key Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant Role
- Prepare and review journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts
- Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze financial data and collaborate with internal teams to provide insights and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Assist with month-end and year-end close, and support external audits
- Stay current on accounting regulations and contribute to process improvements
