Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse ready to step into a leadership role? Were looking for an RN Supervisor to oversee and elevate clinical services in our dynamic family medicine practice! In this vital role, youll provide hands-on patient care while ensuring an efficient workflow of our back office team at the Santa Monica Family Health Center, an outpatient primary and specialty care clinic. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing patient assessment, care, and education to pediatric and adult patients in a clinical/urgent care setting Supervising and training clinic nursing staff Working closely with physicians to manage patient care; triage phone and in-basket messages for providers Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Clinical Director to ensure seamless clinical operations Planning and adjusting staffing to meet operational needs efficiently Managing the Quality Assurance and audit process; ordering clinic supplies and medications Salary Range: $124,600-$289,400 Annually Job Qualifications

Required: 3 years of acute care, urgent care or ambulatory clinic pediatric experience 1 year of supervisory experience Knowledge of Pediatric and Adult patient populations and practice operations Bachelors Degree in Nursing Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross Knowledge of procedures and medication administration in urgent care or ambulatory settings Excellent phlebotomy and IV skills Ability to provide backup support during clinic emergencies and patient problem solving Experience in screening and triaging acute patients accurately Ability to recognize abnormal laboratory values and respond appropriately Skill in performing tasks with frequent interruptions and adapting to changing priorities Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations Preferred: PICC line certification Knowledge of central line catheter management and access Skill in using diagnostic equipment and knowledge of blood tests and procedures Working knowledge of UCLA registration, appointment scheduling, and order entry systems
