This position will be located at our NA business headquarters at 13830 Circa Crossing Drive | Lithia, FL.

You will also be eligible to work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. Project Engineer, Lead The Project Engineering Lead will be responsible for providing project management and engineering services to manage strategic capital projects from inception through completion by following Mosaic’s CPM process and procedures, aligning with Mosaic's strategic priorities. Tasks include project planning, scope development, engineering design, scheduling, cost estimating, budget control, change management, procurement, reporting, supervision, construction management, and overseeing contract engineers, designers, contractors, and subject matter experts to achieve project goals. The Lead Engineer should possess deep technical knowledge, the ability to handle complex projects, and manage multiple impactful projects. Effective communication skills and leadership in task force teams are essential, especially in water management and other strategic project portfolios. What you’ll do: Ensure projects follow Mosaic's CPM Road Map from engineering design through construction and commissioning. Act as liaison among stakeholders including operations, maintenance, reliability, EHS, permitting, legal, agencies, and contractors to meet objectives and metrics for safety, quality, performance, cost, and schedule. Maintain and present weekly/monthly project status reports to leadership, including progress, productivity, cost, and schedule with high accuracy. Deliver projects on time, under budget, with quality, and without safety injuries. Promote and integrate safety culture in all project phases. Collaborate with Procurement to develop strategies, scope, RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, and review invoices. Participate in safety initiatives, ensuring zero injuries during project execution. Mentor engineers and manage interns or co-ops. What you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, civil, or electrical engineering. 10+ years of project management experience on medium to large ($20M-$100M) capital projects in industrial plants. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Primavera P6, and/or Maximo. Strong project management and problem-solving skills. Experience managing multiple phases of projects involving engineering, procurement, and construction in industrial settings. Broad engineering and construction knowledge across disciplines. Ability to work independently and in brownfield environments. Experience with safety integration, risk analysis, and case management.
