What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Provide high-level financial support including budgeting, financial reporting, and planning for AMC Psychiatry divisions and programs - Analyze financial data to assist in budget preparation and forecasting, ensuring alignment with operational priorities - Manage all accounting tasks as part of the monthly accounting close and perform financial analysis to track performance - Prepare productivity dashboards and provide insights for departmental forecasts and operational decisions - Collaborate with leadership on strategic analyses and lead projects to enhance internal financial processes
What is Required (Qualifications): - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; advanced degree preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare or complex organizational finance environment - Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with enterprise financial systems - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience with Mass General Brigham tools (Workday, Insight, StrataJazz) - Ability to convey financial information to non-financial audiences - Commitment to accuracy and integrity of data and communications - Proficiency in budgetary or accounting principles and practices - Experience working with large data sets and financial systems
