Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. (LG&E) is seeking a Construction Market Manager (CMM) to join our team located in Burr Ridge, IL or Houston, TX or Danbury, CT. Construction is a large and fast-growing end market. LG&E aspires to win considerable share of construction projects at both regional and national level by providing gas and hardgoods at the job sites. The Construction Market Manager will be responsible for development and execution of the segment strategy for the organization. The CMM will require a deep understanding of the construction segment and how to leverage LG&E’s product portfolio for growth and profitability. The CMM will work directly with national and regional sales (regional construction manager and GSM, GMs) and develop go-to market strategy and operational infrastructure that will support winning and executing varied construction jobs. CMM will develop the required marketing program and consistent processes which would support the construction segment with both regional and national customers/projects. Market Manager Responsibilities
Identify roadmap to win local construction projects along with large mega growth projects Work with regional leadership to resource to win and support the construction accounts Provide leadership to national sales manager and regions - Work closely with the sales team to develop product and pricing strategies and effectively support the sales team in responding to RFQs and other customer product requests Participate in yearly planning to develop sales and marketing plan for construction segment Interfaces with all areas of the organization to understand needs and growth opportunities within the business. Has a working knowledge of JDE, OBIEE, and Excel. Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements
10+ years experience in construction, and/or gases industry desirable 5+ year product management, sales and/or business development experience Bachelor's Degree required Strong analytical and Excel skills required Highly developed communication (both written & verbal), interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and customer focus skills Ability to operate with minimal supervision in a complex environment and handle multiple tasks and follow-through Ability to travel domestically Advanced technical degree required; MBA preferred.
