Lynco Products We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant I to join our team in Milan, IL. This onsite role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and supporting a fast-paced accounting team. Pay:
$44,000-$49,000 annually
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Review and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation Assist with preparing and processing check runs, ACH, and wire payments Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries in a timely manner Maintain accurate and organized records and files Support month-end close activities as needed Assist in reconciling vendor statements and preparing reports Perform general administrative tasks for the AP department Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Associates degree in accounting or other business related field preferred. 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Working knowledge of basic accounting principles. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, business partners, and the public. Perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Demonstrate the ability to manage time and meet deadlines. Exhibit excellent problem solving skills. Professionally deal with unexpected demands, adapt to change in workload, and organize priorities. Exhibit resourcefulness to accomplish tasks. Exhibit superior ethical and professional standards with all business contacts and co-workers. Maintain accurate records, and efficient file management.
