The Tax Operations Specialist will play a vital role in driving strategic initiatives aimed at expanding our tax filing customer base. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert on our tax product and act as a key operational liaison across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytically minded, and passionate about ensuring the smooth implementation of tax-related initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence product performance and customer experience while supporting the overall tax strategy and vision.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal partners (Operations, Marketing, IT) to drive initiatives that grow the tax customer base Coordinate with operations to support communication and implementation of policy or system changes impacting field teams Partner with Learning & Development to help develop and deliver tax-specific training content Use Excel and other analytical tools to extract, analyze, and summarize data to inform decision-making and issue resolution Act as a subject matter resource for field operations, responding to questions and providing guidance on tax-related matters Support project timelines, deliverables, and status updates in alignment with the overall roadmap Maintain a deep understanding of all new tax initiatives and confidently address related questions from stakeholders and team members Qualifications:

Meticulous with timelines and documentation, capable of managing competing priorities Project Management:
Familiar with project management methodologies and tools; able to lead and coordinate across multiple workstreams Education and/or Experience:
2+ year of project management experience 2+ years of experience in finance, lending, or banking 2+ years of experience working with stakeholders and preparing business updates Knowledge of tax preparation industry Bachelor's or equivalent experience considered Physical Demands:
Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Occasionally may require light lifting up to 25 pounds. Work Environment:
Office environment. Occasional travel may be required.
