We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Benefits Specialist
to join our HR team in Northern NJ. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in benefits administration who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about supporting employee well-being. Key Responsibilities Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401(k)
Coordinate open enrollment activities and assist employees with benefit selections
Serve as the primary contact for benefit-related inquiries and issue resolution
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA)
Collaborate with vendors and brokers to manage plan renewals and updates
Audit benefits data for accuracy and ensure timely processing of enrollments and changes
Support leave of absence tracking and documentation
Prepare reports and analytics for HR leadership
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of benefits compliance and reporting requirements
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
