Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist supports the daily operations of the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. This role serves both our St. Louis campus and remote U.S.-based employees.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates in collaboration with hiring managers and committees. Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding; design and manage employee recognition programs and events. Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, employee relations, safety, and training. Address employment-related inquiries and escalate complex matters as needed. Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; review and update policies to maintain compliance. Stay current on HR trends, best practices, regulations, and technologies. Track and document compliance for required and optional training, continuing education, and work assessments (e.g., safety, anti-harassment, licensure, certifications). Draft and revise policies, procedures, and official documents. Identify opportunities to improve departmental efficiency. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to provide shared HR support. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum 3 years of HR experience. SHRM or HRCI certification preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
