POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer Maintenance with a strong background in manufacturing operations and high-speed production equipment. This role will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, uptime, and maintenance overhaul execution across all site utilities and processes. The successful candidate will deliver projects from ideation through commissioning, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and provide technical expertise to cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and process efficiency.

Own performance and reliability of major production equipment within batching, blending, and packaging operations. Develop, monitor, and maintain KPIs to ensure process accuracy, minimize loss, increase efficiency, and drive product quality. Lead the startup and commissioning of new batching, blending processes, package sizes, and configurations. Implement and maintain downtime and availability tracking; reconcile downtime internally and with customers. Deliver projects from concept through commissioning that improve process and line efficiencies. Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new and existing processes. Establish and manage process controls using lean methodologies. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational effectiveness. Provide technical process control expertise to cross-functional teams. Manage vendors, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring performance against deliverables. Champion Rapid Changeover activities to achieve ambitious changeover time reduction targets. Support safety, energy, and environmental initiatives. Develop root cause analysis processes to eliminate equipment failures. Promote a culture of safety and adherence to PPE requirements. Support team performance and create a culture of engagement. Exhibit knowledge to physically inspect the contractor's work in progress and intervene when necessary. Work collaboratively to resolve quality issues and identify system improvements. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline. Sophisticated troubleshooting skills with high-speed manufacturing equipment, including AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, I/O modules, HMIs, and instrumentation. Knowledge of liquid process systems, blending, inline instrumentation, pumps, valves, tanks, and HTST. Experience with packaging equipment such as depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, fillers, packers, and pasteurizers. Proficiency in CAD software. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence frameworks. Ability to extract, evaluate, and use data for process improvement. Strong interpersonal, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated adaptability and solutions-driven mindset. Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays. Excellent computer skills. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus. OUR VALUES
