Production Planner
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading manufacturing organization in Essex County, NJ, to recruit a talented Production Planner. This role is essential in driving efficient production schedules and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products in a dynamic, 24/7 manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will contribute to seamless operations across multiple production lines. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage production schedules for high volume of weekly batches, ensuring timely completion to meet customer demands. Coordinate with procurement to secure raw material availability from sourcing to final production. Collaborate with department supervisors to monitor progress and adjust schedules to minimize delays. Maintain accurate planning data and Bills of Materials within ERP systems. Analyze supply and demand to optimize inventory levels, preventing shortages or excess stock. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of production scheduling and quality control principles. Proficiency in ERP systems, Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II), and Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to support scheduling adjustments, including availability for overnight hours in a 24/7 operation.
