We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Payroll Administrator to support our payroll operations with precision and integrity. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate employee records, tracking deductions, processing corrections, and assisting with payroll-related reporting and verifications. The ideal candidate brings a high level of discretion, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to timely and accurate payroll support. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Administration Support: Assist with payroll operations by correcting timecard errors, entering missing hours, updating employee information, and responding to payroll-related inquiries. Payroll Tracking & Documentation: Compile weekly payroll summaries, monitor deductions and attendance metrics, and ensure all records are accurate and up to date. Backup Payroll Processing: Serve as a backup resource to the Payroll Manager, helping to process weekly payroll as needed to maintain workflow continuity. Timecard Adjustments & Leave Corrections: Make necessary corrections to timecards, including adjustments for attendance points, short-term disability (STD), and FMLA cases. Payroll Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing employee earnings, taxes, deductions, leave balances, and disability statuses. Uniform Deduction Management Ensure accurate tracking and balancing of uniform deductions throughout the payroll cycle. Employment Verifications: Process timely and confidential employment and income verifications for current and former employees. GL Import & Accounting Reconciliation: Assist with importing payroll data into the general ledger, ensuring proper account coding and supporting reconciliation of payroll-related accounts in collaboration with accounting. Qualifications: Associate degree in Business Administration preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 23 years of payroll or related administrative experience preferred; experience with Paylocity software is a plus. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, organized, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
