Genesis10 is seeking a Network/System Engineer for a 12+ month contract in the financial industry, with locations in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC, and Jersey City, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Support product engineering and cloud automation projects.
Automate configuration, deployment, and support across multiple versions using Ansible, Terraform, and MongoDB Ops Manager.
Requirements: Experience in DBaaS automation. Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with strong troubleshooting skills. Deep understanding of NoSQL database technology, infrastructure, and implementation techniques, especially in Linux/Windows OS environments. 7+ years of NoSQL database engineering experience. Proficiency with MongoDB provisioning, administration, sharded clusters, replication, performance optimization, LDAP, and MongoDB Ops Manager automation and API. Experience with MongoDB Atlas and JSON scripting. Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, Perl, or Linux shell. Experience with automation tools like Ansible, BladeLogic, or Terraform. Knowledge of other NoSQL databases like Cassandra and RDBMS such as Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL. Familiarity with SDLC tools like CI/CD, Jenkins, Liquibase, SonarQube, and Automated Testing.
