Administrative Assistant
for a
temp-to-hire
opportunity. The ideal candidate will provide front-desk and administrative support to a medium-sized division that serves a variety of community-focused programs. This is a high-visibility role requiring excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in office software.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule meetings and training events, including agendas and materials
Prepare procurement documentation and process invoices
Perform accurate data entry into databases and tracking systems
Manage electronic and paper filing systems in compliance with retention policies
Maintain office inventory and order supplies
Arrange travel and complete related documentation
Respond to public inquiries and route calls appropriately
Support special projects and assist in preparing reports, documents, and communications
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of
2 years' experience
in administrative support, office coordination, or a similar role
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Word
Reliable typing speed and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Post-secondary education or certification in business or office administration
Experience with
Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with shared databases and digital document management
Additional Notes:
This position is the first point of contact for the division and requires a welcoming, service-oriented attitude
Candidates may be asked to complete typing and software proficiency assessments
