Job description: Responsible for maintaining product guidelines, developing new products, managing communications regarding products and guidelines, assisting with scenarios, and researching guidelines for loan product exceptions. Function as a valued resource for all departments.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in Mortgage Lending with an emphasis in underwriting, processing or mortgage product development

Essential Functions:

Keeps all Agency Manuals and Job Aids current with revisions to mortgage guidelines, policies and procedures Develops job aids and training materials as needed Writes and distributes company-wide announcements Completes investor research, analyzes data, and provides valid conclusions Serves as an expert and valued resource and assists all team members with Underwriting and other mortgage-related questions Collaborates with several departments to implement guideline changes as well as develop and launch new loan programs Reviews marketing materials for product-related content Performs other duties as assigned by Product Development Manager Moderate supervision required, depending on experience. Report directly to Product Development Manager

Qualifications : Must have High school diploma or equivalent required; some college courses or equivalent preferred Must have a minimum of 5 years in Mortgage Lending with an emphasis in underwriting, processing or mortgage product development Must have strong knowledge base and understanding of Agency Guidelines (FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac) Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF software programs Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills Must possess exceptional attention to detail Must have the ability to create guideline manuals, job aids and other materials Must have the excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities; be detail-orientated and highly organized Must be able to respond to questions timely and accurately Must maintain a positive attitude Must work with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness Must have a high degree of professionalism when interacting with both internal and external clients and operate with highest level of excellence Must be ethical and committed to success Must meet and adhere to corporate Culture and values
