The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory Reports to: Corps Officer Supervises: Thrift Store Staff Status: Full Time Nonexempt Function: To oversee and manage the overall operations of the Corps thrift store, including supervising staff and volunteers, employee evaluations for paid staff, receiving and receipting in-kind donations, managing cash funds and deposits, overseeing the thrift store's social media page, and presenting at monthly advisory board meetings. Responsibilities Maintain good customer relations and provide prompt, courteous assistance. Manage sorting, sizing, pricing, and hanging of donated clothing items. Manage sorting and pricing of other in-kind donations and coordinate sales. Oversee ragging of unsellable clothing items. Oversee receiving and sorting of other unsellable in-kind donations. Attend all required meetings and conferences. Ensure the facility is clean and presentable. Prepare and present monthly reports to the advisory board. Manage store cash register operations and train new employees. Perform any other job-related activities as deemed necessary by the corps officer(s).
