Medical-Surgical RN Job Details
- Job Title: Travel Medical-Surgical RN (Locum Tenens)
- Location: Port Angeles, Washington 98362
- Healthcare Setting: Acute Care - Medical-Surgical Unit
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (8/11/2025 - 11/10/2025)
- Shift: 12-hour days; every other weekend and holiday required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,750 - $1,870
- Charting System: EpicCare Inpatient (2014 Certified EHR Suite)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington state or compact state
- At least 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical RN experience
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Ability to float to Telemetry unit as needed
- Strong computer documentation and clinical support skills
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical patients in an acute care environment
- Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 on days and 1:6-7 on nights
- Document patient care using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to Telemetry unit as part of a rotation
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
