Chelsea Living Room is an intimate, upscale restaurant and event venue in the heart of Chelsea, known for its warm hospitality, curated dining experiences, and lively community events. We host everything from seated pre-fixe dinners to private parties and unique live programming.

We’re looking for a Restaurant & Event Manager to support the General Manager & Ownership in delivering exceptional guest experiences and keeping our operations running smoothly. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in hospitality, loves being on the floor with guests, and can juggle admin responsibilities and event coordination behind the scenes. This is a hybrid role between restaurant operations and event planning & execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Floor Management & Guest Relations

  • Act as a warm and professional presence on the floor, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
  • Oversee daily service, supporting the FOH team and jumping in wherever needed.
  • Address guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally, turning moments into positive experiences.
  • Support all in venue programming and seasonal promotions

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Assist the General Manager with daily administrative tasks as needed.
  • Oversee reservation management system and host team to ensure optimal booking opportunities for guests
  • Ensure operational checklists and opening & closing procedures are completed to standard
  • Support staff onboarding, training, and team communications as needed.

Events, Reservations & Large Party Coordination

  • Serve as the first point of contact for large party inquiries and pre-fixe bookings.
  • Coordinate with guests to confirm menu selections, event details, and timelines. 
  • Work closely with the GM and culinary team to ensure smooth execution of all events.
  • Oversee event setup and act as a liaison during events to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in restaurant management, floor management, or high-volume FOH experience.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a hands-on, team-oriented approach.
  • Experience coordinating private dining or events preferred.
  • Comfortable managing admin tasks including scheduling, reporting, and email correspondence.
  • Detail-oriented, solution-focused, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
