Executive Recruiter | SME in Consultant, Temporary, Fractional, and Temp-to-Perm Staffing in Financial and Professional Services

Our client, a leading investment bank is seeking a Travel & Expense (T&E) Analyst to join their team on a long-term consulting basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance environment while working mostly remotely. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Concur, strong attention to detail, and a background in financial services or corporate accounting. The role requires the individual to go to the Stamford, Jersey City, or New York office once or twice a month.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process employee expense reports using Concur
• Apply appropriate coding and ensure compliance with internal policies
• Resolve discrepancies and follow up with employees as needed
• Support monthly close activities related to T&E
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing supporting documentation
• Maintain and improve T&E reporting and tracking processes
• Collaborate with AP, finance, and compliance teams

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in T&E processing, ideally in a financial services or corporate environment
• Proficient in Concur and Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)
• Strong understanding of accounting codes and expense categorization
• Highly organized and able to manage high volumes with accuracy
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
