Shift : Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 – 19:30) / Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
Weekly Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $2,269.00 Per Week 
On W2(Taxable): $792.00 Per Week 
Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,477.00 Per Week 
Job Description: We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses to join the 19 James Medical Surgical Oncology team at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. This unit provides specialized care for adult and geriatric oncology patients. Candidates should be motivated, flexible, and ready to contribute to a high-acuity, fast-paced environment focused on cancer treatment and symptom management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct nursing care to adult oncology patients with complex medical and surgical needs
* Monitor and manage patients undergoing chemotherapy, cardiac telemetry, and symptom-related interventions
* Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
* Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
* Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention protocols and fall risk measures
* Document all care in Epic charting system
* Float to other Med-Surg Oncology units as required
Required Qualifications:
* Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license)
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience
* BLS certification (American Heart Association)
* Experience with Epic EMR system
* Ability and willingness to float within the facility
* Strong foundational skills including IV start, central line/PICC management, blood administration, and dysrhythmia interpretation
