Functions of Role: Provides high-quality care for children ages 8 weeks to 7 years in both childcare programs and during indoor portions of ski/snowboard lessons. Creates a safe, supportive, and engaging environment that promotes each child's comfort and development while contributing to a positive and memorable guest experience for families. Create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children to enhance the overall guest experience. Greet parents and children; assist with registration, check-in/check-out, and guest questions. Provide early and/or after-care support for MSS youth lessons, as scheduled. Assist MSS Kids' Ranch lessons with class management, including bathroom breaks, separation anxiety, lunch/snack support, and supervision of children. Deliver one-on-one care for children ages 6 months3 years in the Private Nanny program, including feeding, diapering, napping, and play. Participate in all required training, both in-person and online. Follow and uphold all applicable WY Department of Family Services health, safety, and childcare licensing regulations. Adhere to MSS and JHMR risk management and operational protocols. Perform daily cleaning duties including laundry, dishes, and sanitation tasks. Capable and comfortable interacting with children reading stories, dancing, creating arts and crafts projects, etc. Show maturity when interacting with children, families, and coworkers. Strong team player and dependable. High level of patience and able to cope well with stress. Adult and Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certified (Training provided) Experience working with young children ages 8 weeks to 3 years in a Childcare Center setting preferred. Must be able to pick up small children (up to 75lbs). Position Expectations Model professionalism through punctuality, attire, and communication. Be consistently available during the winter operating season, including weekends and holidays. Take responsibility for knowing your schedule and managing changes in advance by communicating with your supervisor at least seven days prior to any requested adjustment. Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset and support co-workers and supervisors as needed. Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests, colleagues, and supervisors. Collaborate effectively with peers, leadership, and parents. Pursue growth through training, feedback, and mentorship. Support MSS goals for safety, lesson delivery, and guest experience.
