As Director of Operations, you will report directly to both founding partners, overseeing firm-wide strategy, operational excellence, and talent development, so our attorneys can concentrate on delivering outstanding legal representation. What you'll do: Operational leadership across locations: Oversee and optimize daily operations for our Clearwater and Pinellas Park offices, traveling regularly to maintain pulse checks and foster collaboration. Serve as the key accountability partner for department leadsIntake, Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, and Receptiondriving continuous improvement and SOP adherence. Strategic Planning & KPI Development: Collaborate with partners to define, implement, and monitor KPIs aligned with one- and five-year growth goals, including client volume targets and efficiency metrics. Lead major projectsonboarding processes, NPS system rollout, quarterly reviews, and predictive analyticsto deliver measurable ROI. People & Culture Building: Design and execute robust recruitment, onboarding, and career-path frameworks; mentor department heads and front-line staff to cultivate a high-trust, high-performance culture. Resolve interpersonal conflicts with professionalism and care, ensuring a drama-free workplace in line with our "actual hearts" ethos. Financial & Vendor Management: Partner with our part-time bookkeeper to review P&Ls, manage cash flow, and negotiate vendor and lease agreements. Monitor operational budgets and recommend cost-optimization strategies without compromising client service. Technology & Process Innovation: Champion the adoption and integration of our tech stackLead Docket CRM, Filevine, Google Workspace, Gusto, QuickBooks Online, Domo, and Notiondriving automation and data-driven decision-making. Develop, document, and audit SOPs across all practice areas to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance. What we're looking for: Experience: 7+ years in operations leadership, ideally within a law firm or high-volume professional services environment, with P&L and multi-location oversight. HR Expertise: Demonstrated success building HR functionsonboarding, career-path development, and conflict resolutionin concert with operational duties. Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Proven track record defining KPIs, leading large-scale projects, and translating goals into executable plans. Technology Proficiency: Hands-on with legal and business platforms (Filevine, Lead Docket, Gusto, QuickBooks, Domo, Notion); agile in adopting new tools. Leadership & Communication: Exceptional at influencing across senior partners, attorneys, and staff; adept at candid yet empathetic dialogue.
