Client Overview: Our client is a fast-growing fashion brand is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freelance Production Coordinator to join our team. This role is key to supporting our production calendar, vendor relationships, and the timely delivery of high-quality apparel. The ideal candidate has prior experience in apparel production, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about process, timelines, and beautiful product. Salary/Hourly Rate: $25/hr - $28/hr Position Overview: The Freelance Production Coordinator must be highly organized to support the end-to-end production process across multiple categories. In this role, you'll manage timelines, track orders, communicate with vendors, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality product. Responsibilities of the Freelance Production Coordinator: Coordinate daily production operations from development through delivery across multiple product categories (e.g. knits, wovens, outerwear). Track production timelines to ensure on-time deliveries and flag potential delays. Communicate directly with domestic and international vendors to monitor production progress and resolve any issues. Maintain accurate WIP reports, POs, and production trackers. Support fit sessions by preparing samples and tracking comments/approvals. Partner cross-functionally with Design, Tech, and Logistics to align on calendar milestones and product status. Conduct quality checks and support QC processes as needed. Help identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and vendor performance optimization. Required Experience/Skills for the Freelance Production Coordinator: 1 - 2 years of experience in apparel production or product development. Strong understanding of the end-to-end production lifecycle. Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and production management software (e.g. PLM systems). Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Production, or related field preferred.
