We are excited to offer an on-campus job position for college students! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experiences while balancing your academic commitments. We're seeking motivated students who are eager to join the Ivy Tech team! Work-Study positions are federally funded, part-time positions. These positions are located on campus, internship-type positions are available for general office support, lab and technology support, and tutoring. They also require clerical, computing, and telephone skills. Job Description/Responsibilities/Duties: Plan and coordinate student-focused events such as forums, town halls, workshops, and awareness campaigns to promote advocacy and inclusivity. Collaborate with campus departments and student organizations to ensure broad participation and shared goals in advocacy initiatives. Develop promotional materials and social media content to increase student awareness and attendance at advocacy-related events. Gather student feedback and concerns through surveys, focus groups, or informal outreach to guide event planning and advocacy efforts. Serve as liaisons between students and administration, presenting student perspectives on key issues and initiatives. Track and report event outcomes including attendance, engagement levels, and feedback to improve future programming. Promote inclusivity and accessibility in all events and engagement strategies, ensuring all student voices are represented. To qualify for our Federal Work Study program students: Must be authorized to work in the United States Must have a high school diploma or GED. Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours each semester. Students must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Students must have a current and completed FAFSA on file. Students must demonstrate financial need. Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.
