Internal Communications Specialist

Provide comprehensive development and production support for all digital news publications and emergent email communications sent from Strategic Communications or university leadership to campus constituent groups: students, faculty, staff, undergraduate families. Coordinate digital resources for a network of digital display screens located across campus. Manage onboarding of new participants, document and maintain training materials. Minimum Qualifications: Skilled writer and editor Experience with CRM systems (Slate, etc.) Experience managing databases and lists for emails/mails Adept with technology and learning new technology Adept at managing and editing graphics, resizing and editing images Organized, systems thinking Project management Able to manage sensitive information with discretion Skilled with MS Office platform (Word, Excel, Teams) Desirable Qualifications: Anticipated Pay Range: 68,000-75,000 Other Information: A probationary period may be required Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime) Background Check required for this position FLSA Exempt Union Position: No Job Location: Burlington, Vermont, United States Job Open Date: 05/22/2025 Job Close Date: Open Until Filled Our Common Ground Statement: The University of Vermont is a welcoming, educationally purposeful community committed to creating an inclusive environment that embraces intellectual diversity and global perspectives.
