Laser Setup Operator
As a Laser Setup Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Salvagnini and Mitsubishi fiber lasers. You will work with sheet metal thicknesses ranging from 20 gauge up to 3/8" and must be able to interpret blueprints and apply GD&T practices. The role involves handling a mix of long-run and prototype jobs daily, and familiarity with tolerances of +/-1 degree is essential. Additionally, you will assist with preventative maintenance for all fabrication equipment. Responsibilities
Set up and operate Salvagnini and Mitsubishi fiber lasers. Work with sheet metal thicknesses from 20 gauge up to 3/8". Interpret and work directly from blueprints, applying GD&T practices. Handle a mix of long-run and prototype jobs each day. Ensure familiarity with tolerances of +/-1 degree. Assist with preventative maintenance for all fabrication equipment. Essential Skills
Experience with sheet metal and fabrication. Skill in laser setup, nesting, and laser operation. Proficiency in GD&T and blueprint reading. Precision in machine operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $68640.00/yr. Extremely nice climate-controlled fabrication job shop, with custom work, so being able to adjust to types of projects, products, etc. Most of the machines are just a few years old, so working with state of the art equipment daily.
