Overview
The Laser Set Up Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating various lasers, ensuring precision and quality. This role requires the ability to interpret blueprints, adjust machines to specifications, and manage heavy lifting of stainless steel components. The operator will work with four brake presses throughout the week. Responsibilities
Set up and operate various lasers according to blueprints and specifications. Adjust machines to the correct specifications for optimal operation. Check the quality of produced parts to ensure they meet standards. Lift and position heavy stainless steel pieces onto machines. Use four brake presses throughout the workweek. Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment setting up lasers. 2+ years troubleshooting presses. Proficiency in working from detailed blueprints using tools such as tape measure, square, and protractor. Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs. High School diploma or GED equivalent. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Cincinnati presses is beneficial. Work Environment
The role is based in a very clean manufacturing plant, requiring steel-toed boots, jeans, and a t-shirt. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, from 5 AM to 3:30 PM. Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
