Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic and growing organization. Key Responsibilities Process a high volume of invoices, matching them to purchase orders and receipts, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with vendors, maintaining effective communication to address and resolve any billing issues. Verify, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner. Prepare and perform check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments. Maintain vendor records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate. Assist with month-end closing activities, including accounts payable sub-ledger reconciliations and accruals. Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth workflows and support audit and compliance initiatives. Monitor and enforce adherence to internal controls and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines. Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required; equivalent experience will be considered. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and team members. Proactive and resourceful approach to identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
