Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist
EAS is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our growing team. In this high-impact role, you'll handle a variety of billing and collections tasks that are essential to keeping our projects running and our cash flow on track. Invoice jobs and work orders (T&M, Lump Sum, GMP), including proper application of sales tax. Create supplier schedules to support customer pay applications. Generate, track, and collect vendor and subcontractor lien waivers. Coordinate with project teams to ensure billing accuracy and completeness. Enter and update billing information in COINS accounting system. Investigate and resolve billing or collections discrepancies. Follow up with customers on documentation, billing inquiries, and payment status. Confirm receipt of billing packages. Assist with other AR or billing-related tasks as needed. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Advanced education or a degree in Accounting/Finance is a plus. Construction industry experience preferred, particularly in billing or A/R. Required Skills & Knowledge
Exposure to construction billing, lien waivers, and customer portals is a strong plus. Familiarity with COINS or other fully integrated ERP systems preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools. Beginner to intermediate Excel skills: Pivot Tables SUM functions VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
