HR Generalist - Talent Acquisition
Pompano Beach, FL (Hybrid - On-site 3-4 days per week) $100K to $120K Salary plus benefits We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist with strong Talent Acquisition skills to lead HR & Recruitment efforts across both salaried and hourly roles, with a strong focus on direct labor hiring for our automotive assembly operations. This role supports core HR functions including benefits administration, onboarding, and employee relations. The ideal candidate has worked at a larger company and has learned best-in-class talent acquisition practices but is also comfortable in smaller, fast growing organizations. We want someone who is passionate about building high-performing teams, enhancing the employee experience, and driving operational excellence in a dynamic, high-growth production-driven environment. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in an assembly, manufacturing or industrial setting. Working knowledge of HR practices including benefits administration, onboarding, and employee relations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization. Experience with HRIS and ATS systems; capable of assessing and potentially implementing one. Demonstrated track record of success in prior roles. Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred but not required) Familiarity with OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and other employment regulations specific to the State of Florida (preferred but not required) Talent Acquisition Responsibilities: Lead full-cycle recruitment for direct labor, technical, and professional roles across multiple manufacturing sites. Partner with plant managers, production supervisors, and department heads to forecast hiring needs and develop sourcing strategies. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job fairs, community outreach, digital platforms, and workforce development partnerships. Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal hiring policies, including EEO and diversity initiatives. Track and report recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement. HR Operations Responsibilities: Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and leave policies; serve as point of contact for employee inquiries. Coordinate and execute onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the company and compliance with safety and training protocols. Support employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Assist with policy updates, compliance audits, and HR documentation.
