Job Title: Human Resources Specialist
Talent Acquisition Focus Location: Morrisville - RTP Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary The Human Resources Specialist plays a key role in supporting the company's workforce strategy, with a primary focus on talent acquisition. This position is responsible for sourcing, screening, and coordinating the hiring of top-tier candidates across various departments. In addition to recruitment, the HR Specialist will assist with onboarding, compliance, and general HR functions to ensure a seamless employee experience and alignment with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for a variety of roles Manage job postings across multiple platforms and ensure accurate, engaging descriptions Source candidates through online databases, social media, networking, and employee referrals Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers Maintain candidate pipelines and track progress using applicant tracking systems (ATS) Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance throughout the hiring process Represent the company at career fairs and recruitment events Onboarding & New Hire Support Facilitate the onboarding process, including offer letters, background checks, and orientation scheduling Ensure new hires have a smooth transition into the organization by coordinating with IT, payroll, and department leads Monitor onboarding feedback and identify areas for improvement HR Administration & Support Assist with maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures Support employee relations efforts and help resolve routine HR inquiries Contribute to HR projects such as policy updates, training initiatives, and engagement programs Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred), or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced or high-volume environment Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Preferred Qualifications Experience recruiting in construction, manufacturing, or technical industries Familiarity with HRIS platforms and data reporting Work Environment Office-based with occasional travel for recruitment events or job fairs Collaborative team setting with cross-functional interaction across departments Physical Requirements Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift and carry office supplies and equipment up to 20 pounds.
