HR Generalist

We're hiring an HR Generalist to join a growing food manufacturing company in Newburyport, MA. This role is on-site and works closely with plant leadership and production teams. The ideal candidate will bring 45 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Key responsibilities include: Providing HR guidance to plant leadership on workforce strategies and employee relations Handling employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance issues Leading full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for hourly roles Serving as a point of contact for all HR-related inquiries Maintaining employee records and compliance documentation Supporting open enrollment and assisting with benefits-related questions on-site Taking on additional HR projects as needed Requirements: Experience:

45 years in HR, Recruiting, or Employee Relations Industry Background:

Manufacturing required; food manufacturing strongly preferred Education:

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field Software:

Microsoft Office, HRIS (UKG preferred), ATS experience Preferred qualifications: Bilingual English/Spanish (strongly preferred; conversational okay) Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment Familiarity with unionized environments Background in LOA, employee relations, and compliance Prior exposure to UKG or Kronos is a plus If you're passionate about making an impact, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are excited about the chance to shape and grow an HR function, we'd love to hear from you!
