Membership Student Assistant, KUT/KUTX (WORK-STUDY)
This position will provide an opportunity to learn about the day-to-day and seasonal fundraising functions of community supported public radio (KUT 90.5 News and KUTX 98.9 Music). Work-study will work closely with the KUT and KUTX membership/fundraising staff. The membership team manages relationships with listeners who financially support the station. We coordinate membership drives, process donations, maintain accurate member records, and provide excellent customer service to current and prospective members. Our work includes creating and delivering communications that inspire giving, managing member benefits, and ensuring members feel appreciated and connected to the station's mission. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations and contributes to the success of fundraising campaigns that sustain the station's mission. Additionally, this role allows us to have another set of hands to better serve our members through cleaner data, quicker responses to inquiries, and better task management. Responsibilities: Entering data into fundraising database software Assisting with membership and station projects Support membership mailings Calling customers for updated information Emailing customer service questions Helping with membership drive Other tasks as assigned Required Qualifications: Current student at UT Austin Must have a Work Study award for Fall 2025 Available to work between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday
